Snow crab is considered a very refined species because of its unique taste and texture. It lives in the cold, deep waters of the North Atlantic, which might influence the texture of its flesh.

- Fishing technique: trap.
- Its flesh, orange-pink on the surface and white on the inside, is fine and very lean.
- It has a stringy and melting texture. Its taste is subtle and slightly sweet.
- Rich in vitamins B12, as well as in zinc, selenium and copper.
