Common name: King salmon
Ora King salmon begin their lives in the fresh water of the Waikoropupu Springs, which are among the clearest in the world. Young salmon then grow to maturity in the sea water of the Marlborough Sounds. As Wagyu is to beef, Ora King is to salmon.
